Brittney is from Clarksburg, Maryland and is a senior Civil Engineering student at the University of Maryland. She has been an active sister since the spring of her sophomore year in 2015. Brittney is also involved in American Society of Civil Engineers and works as a Peer Advisor in the Engineering Co-Op and Career Services office. In the past she was involved in Young Life College and Concrete Canoe. Outside of school she loves spending time at the gym, being outside, burning a candle at the end of a long day, and most importantly, spending time with her two cats, Buddy and Georgia. Brittney is already so proud of the work her board has been doing over the summer and is excited to see all that they can accomplish this year!
Vice President - Kathleen Cooley
Kathleen, who goes by Kat, is from Annapolis, MD and is a senior Chemical engineering student at the University of Maryland. She has been an active sister since the spring of her sophomore year in 2015. Kat participated in Flexus and the University Honors program and is involved in Omega Chi Epsilon and Maryland Cru. Outside of school, she loves hiking, watching BBC historical dramas, attending Nats baseball games and collecting vintage vinyl records (Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles are her favorites). She is honored to be a part of such a talented board and can't wait to see what this year will bring!
Secretary - Nicole Wilson
Nicole is from Annapolis, MD and is a junior studying Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. She has been an active sister of the Upsilon Chapter of A.O.E since she joined her freshman year in the spring of 2015. Nicole is also part of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers. When she’s not doing work or studying, Nicole enjoys traveling, relaxing, watching TV, eating Chipotle, and playing with puppies. Nicole is really looking forward to a great year with her sisters and fellow exec board members!
Treasurer - Caroline Massey
Caroline is a junior mechanical engineering major from Woodbine, MD. She has been an active sister since her freshman year in the spring of 2015. She is a member of the Gemstone Program and researches with Team PRINT. Outside of A.O.E., Caroline is involved in intramural volleyball and soccer, Catholic Terps, ASME, Pi Tau Sigma (Mechanical Engineering Honors Society), and Circle K International. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and watching movies. Caroline is ecstatic to work with the new board this year!
Membership Education - Rachel Antomattei
Rachel is from Bel Air, Maryland and is a junior civil engineering student with a minor in construction management. She has been an active sister of Alpha Omega Epsilon since her freshman year in spring 2015. Rachel is a Clark School Ambassador, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, works at the information desk and ticket office in Stamp Student Union, and just recently completed the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program. Outside of school, she loves taking group fitness classes like BodyPump and HIIT and watching hours of makeup tutorials and dance videos. Rachel can’t wait to work with this year’s board and welcome the spring 2017 candidate class!
Historian and Committee Heads
Historian and Philanthropy Chair - Tiffany Wun
Tiffany is from Ellicott City, Maryland and is a junior bioengineering student. She is proud to be another Terp in her family, and even more happy to have been an active sister of Alpha Omega Epsilon since spring 2015. Tiffany is also a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society, the communications director for her independent project Team Shower Power, and an undergraduate researcher at Bioinspired Advanced Manufacturing Labs; she also received her Scholars citation in spring 2016. Apart from school, she loves to play her violin and make crafts, but still finds time to work at Expert Smiles, Inc. Her hobbies include eating, sleeping, and exploring; she’s always down for a good adventure! Tiffany is so excited to see what this year will bring and to give back to the sorority! Sisterhood Committee Head - Jessica Mulju
Jessica is from Anne Arundel County and is a senior studying Mechanical Engineering. She loves being a Terp and going to UMD. She joined AΩE in the Spring of 2014, her freshman year, and has loved every minute of being a sister. During her freshman and sophomore years, she was in Flexus and College Park Scholars: Science, Technology and Society. Outside of class, she loves baking, binge watching shows like Law and Order SVU and Criminal Minds, and eating carbs. Jessica is really excited about the events coming up this school year and can’t wait to see what’s in store!
Professional Committee Chair - Mackenzie Fitzgerald
Mackenzie, a junior studying Chemical Engineering, was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She has been an active sister of Alpha Omega Epsilon since spring 2015. You can find Mackenzie running around campus while training for Marine Corps Marathon, working with University of Maryland’s ChemE Car team, or swiping ID cards at Eppley Recreation Center. When she is not studying the night away in McKeldin or working, Mackenzie loves to cook, binge watch Netflix, eat Blaze pizza, drink coffee, pet dogs, take naps, or sing along to T. Swift. She is looking forward to an amazing year with her sisters and executive board!
